The Life of "Forest Monks"............✍

There  are a lot of Buddhist Monks in many Buddhist countries around the world. Forest monks have major place among the other monks in all over the world.  Mainly we can identify Thailand, India, China and Sri Lanka as some of Buddhist countries that Forest monks are lived in Forest areas.

They always try to live according to the sermon  of the Load Buddha. The Load Buddha has preached as "Monks must live along specially to reach to the fidelity of Buddhism. It is called "Nirvana" or ''Nibbana''. So all forest monks  follow the Load Buddha 's antipathy.

The all forest monks have a very simple life. Their needs are very limited. As well as already they have not any complex requirements. Houses, Vehicles, parents, relations and children are some examples for them. There fore they have not any problem so solve. As a result forest monks can easily reach 'Nirvana'.

All forest monks have same similar and very simple day to day activities. They get up early in the morning and they usually go "Pindapatha Charika" to get alms from near villages and again they come back to the forests. They always prefer to live in a cave or a meditation chamber. These monks eat only once a day and they are interested in live with meditation most of the day.

The appearances  of this monks are stunning. They have only three robes to wear and one steel bawl to collect foods. It is called "Paathraya". As well as all forest monks have bright bodies. So people like most to visit them and  sacrifice Alms. Not only that all animals are lived in the forest never bother forest monks.

There are  many forest hermitages in Sri Lanka too. It is called "Aranya Senasana". 'Na Uyana forest hermitage', 'Madagalakanda forest hermitage', 'Danavukanda forest hermitage', 'Laggala', 'Labunoruwa kanda', 'Ampara' are some examples to special hermitage in Sri Lanka. So we too have a good opportunity to associate them as our 'kalyana friends' and also we can get valuable guide line from them to build our lives successfully.

Finally I think strongly as, "We all must  visit a forest monk and we need to know about the real nature of our lives the day before our death"
